DAVID GATTEN ON TOUR

AMI's Filmmaker-in-Residence DAVID GATTEN presents "Secret History of the Dividing Line, A True Account in Nine Parts: Parts I–IV" and other films at Ohio State's Wexner Center for the Arts on Thursday Nov 17th. This series, organized by the Wexner Center, will tour the country throughout 2012, with stops at the National Gallery of Art, Harvard Film Archive, and various venues in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

'In this screening, David Gatten introduces the magnum opus that has dominated his career and been called “one of the most erudite and ambitious undertakings in recent cinema” by Artforum.'

On September 23rd at the Nasher, Director/Producer Theodore Bogosian premiered his new documentary, What Love Is: The Duke Pathfinders 50 to an overflowing auditorium. Bogosian is on the faculty in AMI as a visiting filmmaker.

Faculty and staff at AMI contributed to the film in various roles, and the film features the Duke Cancer Center and Chapel Dean Rev. Sam Wells.
