Duke in Los Angeles
Spring 2012 program dates: January 8 to May 9
Duke in L.A. is a spring semester program based at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California. Duke and non-Duke students are invited to apply. This intensive academic and pre-professional program is designed to introduce students to the rich visual and cultural production of America's second largest metropolis.
The Duke in L.A. experience includes two seminars taught by Duke faculty, a student-selected course at USC, and a credit-bearing internship with a business or organization of the student's choice. In addition to coursework, this program features field trips to notable events and locations in Los Angeles, and the opportunity to make connections with people in various fields.
